Nuotti

The Nuotti Project is a property located in central Finland in the Bothnian region and was acquired through staking.  The project area is situated in an area of excellent infrastructure, within 40km of a large base metals mine (now in closure) at Pyhasalmi, owned by First Quantum Minerals, and within 25km of a nickel mine at Hitura (now closed).  It is also in the same district as Gemdale’s Isoneva Gold Project.  In recent years, the area has attracted several juniors exploring for critical metals and also Rio Tinto and BHP, highlighting the attractiveness of the district for exploration.

Historical exploration work at Nuotti includes notable drill results from a program in the 1980s by the Finnish Geological Survey, the GTK, where significant copper-PGM mineralization was intersected near surface in a small scout drilling program.  Driven by a new understanding of the geology, and with the assistance of new exploration models and methods, Gemdale plans to investigate expansion of the known mineralization and to explore for higher grade, related mineralization which may be present in the area.

The Nuotti Project is available for joint venture deals.
