Palkisvaara

The Palkisvaara Exploration Permit is situated along strike from the Vuollosvaara although it has seen very little exploration historically. Gemdale carried out the first known detailed surface till sampling program on a portion of the property and this program has generated significant nickel and copper anomalies (see press release dated 2nd February, 2024 ). In addition, gold has been noted on the property, associated with quartz veining.

Gemdale intends to follow up the results of the surface till sampling program with base of till (BOT) sampling and geophysics. As with nearby Vuollosvaara, Gemdale believes the property is prospective for magmatic / volcanic hosted nickel-copper-PGM sulfide deposits.

Paksuselka

The Paksuselka Exploration Permit is located close to the Sirkka Shear Zone, a crustal scale, deep seated thrust structure which is believed to be associated with the abundance of gold anomalies and deposits in the area. Although substantial high grade gold mineralization has been found a few kilometres the northwest, along the Sirkka Shear zone, on the neighbouring Aurion/Kinross Gold joint venture ground (known as Launi East), the Paksuselka area has not been historically explored for gold, but in Gemdale’s first program, it has sampled high grade gold in bedrock, with grab samples ranging from <0.05 g/t Au up to 12 g/t Au. The mineralization is also associated with copper and so the area is considered to be prospective for both gold and critical metals.

Molkankummut & Hilkunavaara

The Molkankummut (granted Exploration Permit) and Hilkunavaara (under application) are located further south, and are grass roots exploration projects chosen for their proximity to the Sirkka Shear Zone, along with specific structural aspects, together with known regional gold in till and copper anomalies. The area has not previously been explored for gold. The company plans surface boulder hunting, geophysics and base of till (BOT) sampling programs on these early stage projects.

The Molkankummut and/or Hilkunavaara Projects are available for joint venture deals.

Ranta

The Ranta project comprises two Exploration Permits in the heart of the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt. Although there has been some historical exploration work aimed at finding gold mineralization, and some surface mineralization has been found, Gemdale considers these licenses to be grass roots / early stage exploration. Gemdale plans surface boulder hunting, geophysics and base of till (BOT) sampling programs on these early stage projects.
